The Research Council (TRC) will participate in the first Oman Science Festival that will last for five days, October 24 to 28, within its commitment towards its strategic objectives represented in building research capacity, achieve research excellence, establishment of research linkages and knowledge transfer, providing enabling research environment.
TRC will participate with a partition at the exhibition that will be accompanying the activities of the festival in Muscat during its last three days from October 26 to 28.
TRC’s interactive partition will spread awareness on TRC’s various research and innovation program. Besides the programs, TRC will also utilize its partition to promote the Innovation Park Muscat (IPM), one of TRC’s major initiatives for the development of research and encouragement of innovation. Oman Animal and Plant Genetic Resources Center (OAPGRC) that is supervised by TRC will have an exhibition on genetic resources.
Apart from the exhibition, TRC is participating with presentation on the National Innovation Strategy (NIS) that will be delivered at the festival’s conference by Dr. Sharifa Al Harthiya, Director of the NIS project.
